The award ceremony will take place on 25th November 2016 at the Mayfair Hotel London.

The event is tipped to bring together powerful and famous leaders from all parts of the world.

Vongai Nyahunzvi, founder of the Leadership Awards, established the leadership development model known as “Leading from Within”.

Having worked as a leader for many years alongside other senior leaders, Ms Nyahunzvi recognised a need to celebrate leadership from different sectors.

She has held Director level positions in both public and private sectors. “It has been my vision for a long time to bring together leaders from different sectors as many of them are celebrated under specific categories. My move to bring all sectors under one roof is strategic for the purpose of networking for better leadership,” Ms Nyahunzvi said.

Leadership Awards nominations are officially open and are expected to close on 15th August 2016.

High profile judges from different sectors have been carefully selected to ensure a robust and balanced selection process.

Judges include media mogul and leadership mentor Dr Pauline Long; CEO of RCPCH Professor Judith Ellis; Head of Organisation Effectiveness OXFAM Sarah Ireland; Director Institute of Systematic Leadership Dr Bill Tate; Partner and Executive Coach, Listening Partnership Jude Elliman; Professor of Human Resource Management, Nottingham Business School, Helen Shipton; Vice President ADP, Glaxo Smith Kline, Jacqui Alexander; and Managing Director Positive Deviant Tony Belgrave.

“An award ceremony like this is much needed as we see several organisations make significant progress in leadership particularly encouraging the youth sector. I’m honoured to be on the judging panel and advisory board,” Dr Long said.

Leadership-AwardsNominations can be made in the following categories: Outstanding Leadership Professor; Most Influential CEO; Best Employee Engagement Initiative; Best Coach Initiative; Most Inspiring Youth Leader; Start- Up Executive of the year; Most Influential Community Leader; Not-for-Profit Leadership, and many others.
