Diamond Platnumz to share the stage with Ghanaian artiste Gyakie in live performance in Germany

King of Bongo Diamond Platnumz to perform live in Germany featuring artists like, Gyakie, Freak De L’Afrique and Christian Bakotessa.

African entertainment news. Diamond Platnumz in Germany. AMG Events is bringing Diamond Platnumz, the most influential and successful music star from East and Central Africa, who will share a stage with Ghanaian artist Gyakie for the first edition of the Afro Matic Generation Live Concert in Germany.

Diamond Platnumz will be coming with his full live band and dancers from East Africa, Tanzania to Germany.

The event will be taking place in Oberhausen Turbinenhalle Im Lipperfeld 23, 46047 Oberhausen, on the 16th of July 2022 Saturday from 7 PM – 11:45 AM UTC +03.

The international African artist will be accompanied by the Afro-fusion singer Gyakie from Ghana who will be sharing the stage with him.

Afronews was granted an exclusive interview by event organiser, Paul Mfopou, who shared that for fans this would be an event definitely worth attending.

“Diamond will be coming all the way from Tanzania with HIS OWN BAND and PERFORMERS! This is big news.” he said.

“This is the real freedom day after 2 years of COVID for all those in Germany and beyond coming to experience Simba.”

Paul promises it will be the most breathtaking event of the year and the most entertaining as ‘Diamond is the show and he brings the show!’

There will also be an after-party at Steffy’s Club – which is in the same building as the event but held in a different room.

Who is Gyakie?

Jackline Acheampong, known professionally as Gyakie, is a Ghanaian afrobeat/afro singer. Gyakie was born into a family of musicians and by age eight, she had started joining her father, Nana Acheampong, in the studio.

She was also influenced by Asa and Ghanaian musician Omar Sterling of R2Bees. (more to read below)

The Ghanaian star is exactly what the world needs to hear. She has a strong passion for music and manages to create inspiring stories for the younger generation.

In August 2020, the “Forever” song from her five-track EP, titled “Seed” was her claim to fame enjoying airplay and leading charts in Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria. (more to read below)

This amazing event will also feature a warm up show by talented group Freak De L’Afrique and an amazing performance by 2012 Super Talent finalist, Christian Bakotessa, who has an amazing story to his journey into music.
