Samuel Eto’o working to sway Youssoufa Moukoko to play for Cameroon instead of Germany

Cameroons’ Samuel’s Eto’o is working to sway Youssoufa Moukoko away from Germany to Cameroon – his country of birth.

Cameroonian-German footballer Youssoufa Muokoko who plays for Borussia Dortmund.

The 17-year old Cameroonian star plays for Borussia Dortmund and is now a hot commodity in the international market facing a recruitment battle for his skills especially from his country of birth.

Samuel Eto’o is targeting Moukoko in an effort to get him to play for The Lions. A meeting for the two sides was scheduled for December 24th reported Bavarianfootball.

Who is Youssoufa Moukoko?

Youssoufa was born in Yaoundé, Cameroon but moved to Germany at the age of 10. He has featured severally in Germany’s youth national teams ranging from the U-16s to the U-21s.

While it is said the player isn’t ready for the German national team yet, there is not doubt he could be a great addition come 2022 like player Jamal Musiala.
