Senegal Squad at AFCON, teams they play for in Europe and star player Bouna Sarr

Senegal squad AFCON 2021: Senegal had a great start in the Africa Cup when Bouna Sarr gave them their first win in their opening match with Zibambwe (1-0).

Senegal has taken a big step towards qualifying for the last sixteen of the Africa CUP. The lions of Teranga only managed a goalless draw against Guinea despite many attempts during the second half. So far both teams are at four points with a goal difference of (+1).

Different clubs in Italy and France have expressed interest in Senegal star Bouna Sarr however the Senegal player has not shown any interest in their proposals. Currently he is playing for Bayern Munich and he has missed the last stages of preparation of tournament. He honoured the call back home to represent his country at the Africa Cup.

Senegal is set to play their last group game against Malawi. Despite the outcome of the results, the team has already secured a place in the knockout stages.
