How to attend Swahili night at Gill Lwangu’s restaurant – Nairobi – Restaurant & Grill

Africans in Germany. Kenyan Germany- based self-taught chef Gill Lwangu will be hosting a Swahili Night at her new restaurant Nairobi – Restaurant & Grill.

The Swahili night will be going down on the 27th May 2023 from 19:00 hrs at the Nairobi – Restaurant & Grill, Berliner Str. 31-35 Eschborn. The event will offer one night with 12 Swahili cultures and will be hosted by Germany-based Corporate Communication Expert Philly Yambo and music will be by Kenyan Germany-based artiste Dj Buuchezo.

Owner of Nairobi – Restaurant & Grill, Gill Lwangu, posted that the kitchen will close at 22:00 hrs and hangover soup will be sold from 22:00 hrs!!

Who is Gillian Lwangu Piroth?

Gillian is a Kenyan Germany- based self-taught chef based in Frankfurt where she has founded and runs ‘My Ethnic Cooking & Catering’ (MEC), the first African cookery school in Germany registered in Eschborn. “We conduct most of our businesses in Frankfurt area and the surrounding cities. We also conduct worldwide online cooking courses,” Gillian said.

Having been living in Germany for almost 20 years, Gillian has an ambitious plan of teaching people from other cultures how to cook African dishes and the history of African dishes before the colonial period and now has her own restaurant in Eschborn.
