Senegal vs Burkina Faso AFCON: Senegal is set to proceed to the finals after defeating Burkina Faso (3-1) in the Semi-finals
Senegal scored the three goals in the last twenty minutes of the match. In the 70th minute, Abdou Diallo scored their opening goal. Bamba Diene, later on doubled Senegal’s lead. Six minutes later Sadio Mane scored the third goal sealing a place for Senegal in the Finals of the Africa Cup.
Burkina Faso had won against Tunisia 1-0 in the quarter-finals to reach the Semi-finals. Burkina Faso has performed well ever since the Africa Cup started for they finished as the last eight.

Senegal finished as the runners up in the 2019 AFCON. They have also appeared twice in the Africa Cup finals without successfully winning the title. They are expected to meet either Egypt or host Cameroon in the finals of the 2021 Africa Cup.
