Namibian man named Adolf Hitler elected into government

A Namibian man named Adolf Hitler Uunona ,54, has been sworn in as district administrator on Nambia’s constitution.

Previously, he had won 84.88 percent of the votes in the regional elections in the Ompundja district in the Oshana region (in northern Namibia). An overwhelming success against the trend! The Swapo lost the majority in these elections in several regions and cities.

Build talked to the man behind the name to understand how it is that he acquired his name.

“That I have this name doesn’t mean that I want to subjugate Oshana now,” he says and laughs. “It doesn’t mean that I’m striving for world domination.” Then he gets serious. “My father named me after this man. He probably didn’t understand what Adolf Hitler stood for. “
