Children from the ages of twelve can now be vaccinated in the European Union (EU) with the corona vaccine from Biontech/Pfizer.
Following a recommendation from the Medicines Agency EMA, the EU commission also stated that it granted approval.
This comes as the Standing Vaccination Commission in Germany had not yet issued a recommendation.
After reports of fraud in test centres, stricter guidelines should be made. The Health Minister Jens Spahn expects that ”around 90 percent” of adults willing to vaccinate in Germany will be vaccinated against the coronavirus Mid-July.
In Germany, however, the Standing Vaccination Commission (Stiko) has not yet issued a recommendation.
