Corona in Germany: 30,000 students quarantined in North Rhine-Westphalia

According to the latest information, 286 employees were ordered to be quarantined in the teaching staff, which is 0.6% of the total. Infection was confirmed in 0.08 percent of them.

However, the Ministry of Education and Education noted that not all data from schools, students and teachers had been recorded. The statistics took into account 4,000 out of the total of 4,844 public schools surveyed – with almost 1.85 million students and about 140,500 teachers.

This corresponds to a response rate of 82.3 percent of the schools. Confirmed cases of coronavirus also include extracurricular tests – e.g. for people returning from school.
