Nigeria reveals Afcon 2021 team

Victor Osimhen was listed for Afcon 2021 Nigeria by Augustine Eguavoen, former professional footballer and manager of Nigeria. Upon going home to Nigeria for the Christmas holidays and he tested positive for covid-19.

This is the second time the Napoli striker is testing positive for coronavirus.

Osimhen’s club, Napoli, said they ‘will not rule out’ a legal battle with the NFF after the player tested positive for COVID-19, potentially excluding him from Africa Cup of Nations duty – Guardian.
