Nigerians in Germany: The Nigerian embassy in Berlin announced that Nigerians in Germany will experience difficulty in their passport application appointment process when applying online and so will need to employ a new method to set up appointments.
Nigerian Embassy in Berlin: passport application appointments for Nigerians in Germany
The delay is because the embassy is experiencing an issue with the passport appointment system which has been disabled due to technical issues.
The Nigerian embassy requests that all those wishing to apply for passports should do so by sending an email to [email protected].
The embassy made the announcement on the 9th of February. The text read:
‘PUBLIC NOTICE
THE EMBASSY WISHES TO INFORM THE GENERAL PUBLIC THAT THE PASSPORT APPOINTMENT SYSTEM HAS BEEN DISABLED DUE TO TECHNICAL ISSUES. IN THE INTERIM, APPLICANTS ARE TO APPLY FOR APPOINTMENTS BY SENDING AN EMAIL TO [email protected].’
Should you make an appointment then your email will be received and a date of issue sent to you.
