Africa Diaspora Festival. Everything is ready for African Diaspora – Das Festival, a weekend of art, innovation, culture, and tasty food on 20-21 July, 2024, in Frankfurt, Germany, at Rebstockpark.
The festival will feature performances by Ornella Mikwasa from the Democratic Republic of Congo, now based in Germany. The Wawa Aba Ensemble, representing Ghana, Burkina Faso, and Argentina. Also performing are Jaliba Kuyateh and the Kumareh Band, the king of Kora from Gambia, the Samba Roots Band, Kay-Luv, and the Afrotudedancers, among many others.

In a statement from the organizers, they said, “It will be the venue for a unique festival that celebrates the rich culture and enormous potential of the African Diaspora. ‘Africa Diaspora – The Festival’ invites families and a diverse audience to experience a weekend full of art, innovation, and culinary delights.”
Under the motto ‘Past meets present and future,’ the festival highlights the promising opportunities the African continent offers, especially for younger generations, in the fields of arts and future technologies. With a focus on virtual realities, the festival presents a diverse program that appeals to both young and old.
