Kenyan comedian and style influencer Elsa Majimbo had the honour of hosting the 2021 Fashion Awards.
The Fashion Awards 2021 was held in London on 29th November at the iconic Royal Albert Hall, London. This year’s event included accolades including Designer of the Year and the British Fashion Council (BFC) Foundation Award.
The Fashion Awards also honoured and celebrated Leaders of Change; the designers, brands, creatives and individuals who created positive change within the fashion industry this past year, under five categories: Environment, People and Creativity.
More than 800 key members of the international fashion industry formed the panel that voted for the nominees, winners and honourees.

The 2021 Fashion Awards were to be hosted by Emmy, Tony and Grammy Award-winning, and Golden Globe-nominated actor, singer, director, composer, and playwright Billy Porter who invited Elsa Majimbo to accompany him.
From eating crisps on her bed making funny commentaries and skits on popular social media platform Instagram, to the red carpet. Elsa Majimbo has become a household name in the fashion and beauty industry.
At the age of 20, Elsa Majimbo is a 15-time chess champion, a fashion icon and and a role model for those who appreciate her good humour which brought her her unexpected success.
