22 year old afro German, Anton Donkor from Ghana, has joined the German Lower division outfit in the ongoing summer transfer window as a free agent.
Bundelsiga 3 side SV Wald dhof Mannheim 07 have announced the signing of the football star in an undisclosed transfer period deal.
The former VfL Wolfsburg youth star joined the Mannheim-based club from relegated third division club FC Carl Zeiss Jena after the expiration of his contract this season.
Following a breakthrough season this term, the ex-Everton U23 loanee widesman is now set to continue with his tip-top form in the lower-tier contest with the Waldhof team following his acquisition.
Having signed on the dotted lines, Afro German Anton Donkor says he wants to accustom himself to the playing style of SV Waldhof as he looks forward to reaching his next step in his football career.

“The SVW played a very strong round. I want to help build on that. It is my goal to assert myself here at SV Waldhof and to take the next step in my career, ” he told the club’s official website
SV Waldhof sporting director, Jochem Kientz also spoke highly of the qualities of the Ghanaian winger as he can still feature for their youth team set-up.
“Anton enjoyed his strengths, particularly on the left wing, and also a very good education. He brings a certain physical presence to the court and also falls under the U23 regulation. It fits very well into our requirement profile, ” Kientz said on the same club forum.
Anton Donkor was recruited alongside German-Spanish attacking midfielder Rafael Garcia and both will join their team-mates at the training grounds on Monday.
The Gottingen-born speedster is still eligible to play for Ghana at the international stage despite featuring for the Germany youth teams.
