Nigeria, Ghana, Algeria early exit from AFCON

Ghana was the first team to be dumped out of the AFCON. This is the first time the black stars have been crashed out of AFCON in the group stages. The team failed to win at least one group stage match. The final blow to the team was after newcomers Comoros defeated them (3-2). Nigeria was the last team to exit even after winning all of its matches in group stages. The AFCON champions started so well after putting on their best foot forward.
