Biden appoints Nigerian, Adewale Adeyemo, for Deputy Treasury Secretary position

The new president of the US Joe Biden has appointed Nigerian Adewale Adeyemo, 39, as a Deputy treasury Secretary.

Adewale ”Wally” Adeyemo has been named the incoming deputy Treasury secretary. He will serve under Janet Yellen, who will be the first woman to serve as had of the Treasury Department.

Adeyemo previously served in the administration of President Obama as an international economics advisor.

Public service is about offering hope through the dark times and making sure that our economy works not just for the wealthy, but for the hard-working people who make it run.
