Romelu Lukaku transfer news. Â African footballers. Chelsea and Napoli are still negotiating over Romelu Lukaku, but it seems neither side is desperate to close the deal just yet.
Reports from Italy, including one from Gianluca Di Marzio, say Napoli has offered €25 million plus €5 million in add-ons for Lukaku. Napoli wants to finalize the deal without affecting their situation with Victor Osimhen, so they are proposing a loan with an obligation to buy rather than a direct transfer.
Chelsea, however, is not satisfied with this offer. They are holding out for at least €40 million and prefer to get the full amount now. They also hope to possibly include Victor Osimhen in the deal, but PSG has shown less interest in Osimhen recently. This negotiation may continue until the transfer deadline.
