Is your smartphone on the list? WhatsApp to stop working on selected models

Smartphones without access to WhatsApp from February 29, 2024

As the end of the month approaches, certain mobile devices will face restrictions in accessing WhatsApp, a popular application for swift and direct exchange of text, voice messages, videos, photos, and documents. Compatibility issues with operating systems will result in some mobile phone models being unable to run the application. The following is a list of smartphones that won’t be able to install or update WhatsApp starting February 29. Users should be aware that WhatsApp will now exclusively support devices running Android 5.0 or newer, with a minimum of 300 MB of free disk space.

WhatsApp will stop working on these phones

If you possess a phone with older specifications, attempting to download the app from Google Play may result in a message stating “Your device is not compatible with this version.” This signifies that your phone will no longer support WhatsApp. To verify whether your model is among the devices that will lose compatibility with the application from February 29, refer to the comprehensive list of affected models below:
