Knife attack in Germany. News. Dramatic events unfolded at a bus stop in Chemnitz when a knife attacker stabbed a teenager who was trying to protect his sister. The brave 16-year-old was badly hurt while helping his sister and her friend. Witnesses tried to assist, but he was seriously injured and rushed to the hospital. The attacker ran away. Teenager Seriously Injured While Protecting Sister from Knife Attacker
The attack happened on Monday when two teenagers, aged 17 and 18, got off a tram at the Südring stop on their way to Hutholz. They were followed and insulted by an unknown person. The injured teenager, Abdul’s father, told BILD that his daughter should have called the police immediately instead of contacting his son. The 16-year-old brother rushed to the scene to help after receiving the call.

According to police, Abdul confronted the attacker near the Südring stop on Stollberger Straße, leading to an argument. The situation escalated, and the attacker pulled out a knife, stabbing Abdul several times. He was seriously injured and lost consciousness. Witness Karl-Heinz Klaus described the scene: “The boy had wounds on his arm and leg and was also stabbed in the kidney. I could see muscle on his arm, and I tried to stop the bleeding.”
The attacker, whose motives are still unknown, fled the scene, and the search for him is ongoing.
