In Germany, more than two million coronavirus cases have been recorded since the start of the corona pandemic. The number of new deaths is also high again.

In Germany, over two million people have been infected with the virus since the outbreak of the corona pandemic. The health authorities reported 22,368 new corona infections to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) within 24 hours, as the RKI announced on Friday morning.

This means that the number of cases that have become known since the beginning of the pandemic rose to 2,000,958 (as of January 15, 00:00). It should be noted that the actual total number is likely to be significantly higher, since many infections are not recognised reported T-online.
