It took more than three hours for the first arrangements to introduce new restrictions to be finally adopted. Here’s what has been established so far:
Curfew
As reported by Bild.de, Chancellor Angela Merkel and the prime ministers of the federal states have reached an agreement on the introduction of a “curfew” throughout the country. As part of the restriction, there will be a “curfew” between 11.00 pm and 6.00 am, in places where the number of new infections exceeds 50 per 100,000 inhabitants of a given region within 7 days.

Obligation to wear protective masks
The requirement to wear face masks in public places, including outdoors, will apply in places where the number of new infections exceeds 35 per 100,000 inhabitants of a given region within 7 days.
Less participants in private celebrations
In regions with rapidly increasing coronavirus infections, a maximum of 10 people and up to two households will be able to attend private celebrations (in places where the number of new infections exceeds 50 per 100,000 inhabitants in a given region within 7 days).
Further arrangements will be made after 21.00.
