The issue of vaccinations and free coronavirus tests for the indicated groups will be regulated in a new federal government decree.
The first draft of the new regulation initially stipulated that tests for children aged 12 to 17 should remain free until November 30.
And German Chancellor Angela Merkel had agreed with state prime ministers to cancel the Corona tests, whose costs are covered by the state, as the vaccination campaign in Germany progresses. The German health minister said that from October 11, anyone who could be vaccinated would have to pay for the test themselves.
According to government plans in Germany, testing will remain free for all those who cannot be vaccinated, including children under 12 years old.
