Germany extends COVID-19 lockdown till February 14th

Germany is set to remain under lockdown until at least February 14th after Chancellor Angela Merkel as state premiers agreed to extend restrictions beyond the end of the month.

DW reports that Merkel and Germany’s 16 state leaders decided on Tuesday agreed to extend the country’s lockdown until February 14th to fight the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
