Gambian-Qatari beach volleyball player Ahmed Tijan is making waves at the Tokyo Olympics 2020

Ahmed Tijan Janko is a Qatari beach volleyball player originally from Banjul, Gambia participating in the Tokyo Olympics 2020. The player is currently leading in men’s Volleyball.

Ahmed Tijan is in the leading for the men’s tournament alongside teammate Cherif Younousse at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

The game which took place on the 28th of July 2021 was against Italy’s Rossi E. and Carambula Raurich.

Ahmed Tijan Janko was born in April 28th 1995, he is 26 years old.

Notably, In 2018, he alongside Cherif Younousse, clinched the gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games in Palembang, Indonesia. The two have been team-mates for several games in a while now.
