African Community in Germany Awards 2022 nominations: Leading categories

More than 140 nominations have so far been received for the African Community in Germany Awards 2022. Sponsored by Ortel Mobile, Germany’s leading prepaid sim cards provider for people with a migration background, the AFRONEWS – Ortel Mobile African Community in Germany Awards celebrate and recognize the outstanding achievements of Africans in different fields in Germany.

The nominations for the African Community in Germany Awards 2022 opened on 14th February and will run until 1st May 2022.

  • The Best African Musician/Band in Germany Award
  • The Best African Gastronomy – Restaurant/Caterer in Germany Award
  • The Best African DJ in Germany Awards
  • The Best African Start-ups without borders
  • The Best African Events Organizer in Germany Award
  •  The Best African Beauty & Hair Salon in Germany Award
  • The Best African Actress and Actor in Germany
  • The Best African Journalist in Germany Award
  • The Best African Dancer in Germany Award
  • The Best African Poet in Germany Award
  • The Best African Artist in Germany Award

However, the following categories of nominations are yet to climb the ladder

  • The Best African Photographer in Germany Award
  • The Best African Dancer in Germany Award
  • The Best African Comedian in Germany Award
  • The Best African Beauty Pageant in Germany Award
  • The Best African Beauty Supplier in Germany
  • The Best African Fashion Designer in Europe Award (This is the only category open to Africans in all European countries and not limited to only Africans in Germany)
  • The Best African Radio Station Award
  • The Best African Teacher/Coach in Germany Award
  • The Best African Athlete in Germany Award
  • The Best African Teacher/Coach in Germany Award
  • The Best African TV Personality in Germany Award
  •  The Best African Festival in Germany Award
  • The Best African Photographer in Germany Award
  • The Best African Author in Germany Award
  • Lifetime Achievement
