Nollywood actress Victoria Inyama is publicly appealing for help in recovering her stolen designer Tag Heuer wristwatch.
On 12th June 2016 Ms Inyama shared a photo of the limited edition timepiece revealing that it could have been stolen by a person who visited her home in London.
Here’s what she wrote on her Facebook profile: “Am really hurt today, I just saw d box of my sentimental piece and it grieves my heart that someone I let in, took or should I say stole it from where I keep it. Pls am using this media to appeal to maybe anyone who might have been approached to buy it, As it was taken from home around d 26 or 27th of March, cause I don’t have proof but I know who, I can’t do more than publicise it. That’s how much it hurts me, it can’t be sold to proper jewellers cause it’s got security mark so worse case is its been pawned for cash.😣. Plssssssssss It’s a limited edition”
The Nigerian actress told Diamond Celebrities that she knew who stole the watch but could not report to police because of lack of proof. “He was the only visitor I had before the watch got missing. He knows that I know him but I don’t have proof to nail him. Here in London, if you don’t have proof, police won’t do anything. That’s a 3K watch and that design has been stopped. I have my name at the back though, but it’s only a professional jeweller that can see it with the special glass. It’s a hard lesson, mind who you allow into your space,” she said.
