Mohammed Kudus incident Tottenham. African footballers. Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United have both been charged by the FA after an incident at the end of their Premier League match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.
Spurs won 4-1, coming from behind in the London derby, but the post-match events stole the spotlight. Mohammed Kudus was sent off after a VAR check, and a brawl between the two teams followed. The incident started when Kudus fouled Spurs defender Micky van de Ven and appeared to kick him while he was on the ground. Van de Ven reacted angrily, shoving Kudus, who then hit him in the face.
During the brawl, Kudus was also caught on camera hitting Pape Matar Sarr in the face, which prompted VAR to intervene. After reviewing the footage, the referee upgraded Kudus’ initial yellow card to a red.

Both Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United have now been charged by the FA for the altercation at the end of the match. An FA statement said, “Tottenham Hotspur allegedly failed to ensure that their players conducted themselves in an orderly manner and did not engage in improper or provocative behavior around the 82nd minute. West Ham United allegedly failed to ensure that their players did not act improperly, provocatively, or violently at the same time.”
Both clubs have time to respond to the charges before the FA makes a final decision. Kudus had scored the opening goal before Spurs came back with goals from Dejan Kulusevski, Yves Bissouma, an own goal, and Son Heung-min to secure a 4-1 win.

Mohammed Kudus, born on August 2, 2000, is a Ghanaian footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or right winger for West Ham United in the Premier League and the Ghana national team. Before joining West Ham, Kudus played for Danish club Nordsjælland and Dutch side Ajax. He grew up in the Nima neighborhood of Accra, Ghana, and comes from a Muslim family, with two brothers still residing in Accra.
