The challenges many Africans face in Europe are unimaginable to people who have never lived abroad, says MPiece, a Nigerian a singer, songwriter and producer based in Germany.
MPiece whose real name is Paul Onwuachi, plays Chuks in “Zero Deal”, a new Nollywood movie to be premiered in Freiburg, Germany on 24th September 2016.
Chucks is a bad guy involved several criminal activities. He is in fact a chronic gangster and a drug dealer.
MPiece recalls that immediately he received the script, he fell in love with Chucks. “This character will teach a lot of people a moral lesson about living life on the fast lane,” MPiece said.
He described “Zero Deal” as “a movie with a detailed storyline.”
“It is also a film everyone who lives far from home especially those living in the western world will be able to relate with since it shows the challenges they often encounter,” MPiece added.
Directed by Evans Osigwe, “Zero Deal” shows the real life experience of many Africans who come to Europe with desires of having a good life but end up in pains and agonies. These challenges force them into doing what they would never do in normal circumstances.
It is produced by Prince Ogugua Igwe, a Nigerian actor, scriptwriter and producer based in Germany.
“The recording of the movie was quite challenging because apart from acting I also took part in other aspects of production as production designer, location manager, script editor and also produced some tracks for the movie,” MPiece said.
