Former England Captain Micheal Vaughan has been dropped from a BBC show after allegations of racism were brought forth about him by two players.
Vaughan had been working as an analyst on Test Match Special for 12 years on the BBC 5 Live’s ‘The Tuffers and Vaughan Cricket Show ‘.
The allegations of racism were made by Azeem Rafiq where he said that the captain made a racist comments towards him and other players before a Yorkshire match in 2009.
The Daily Telegraph wrote that the captain had admitted that he was the former player implicated in the investigation into Rafiq’s allegation of institutional racism at Yorkshire but “completely and categorically” denied the charges and vowed to “fight” to clear his name – BBC.
Micheal Vaughan apparently, told a group of Asian players, including Rafiq, “Too many of you lot, we need to do something about it.”

The event took place in 2009 at a field during a match against Nottinghamshire in 2009.
When questioned he denied any claims of saying the words and said he has nothing to hide and that the comments never happened.
