He’s now aiming to make his Premier League debut on Saturday when Hurzeler’s team travels to face Everton at Goodison Park. This game will also be Hurzeler’s first Premier League match as a manager, and he has praised Minteh’s performances over the summer: “Let’s wait for the Premier League to start,” Hurzeler said.
“I have a clear motto. When you always give 100 percent in training, press hard, and try to improve every day, you’ll perform like this in matches. He’s a great example of that. I hope he can show the same performance in the Premier League.”

Although Minteh never played for Newcastle, he had a strong season at Feyenoord last year, helping them finish second in the Eredivisie and win the KNVB Cup. He also made his Champions League debut during his time with the Dutch club.
