Mohammed Kudus, born on August 2, 2000, is a Ghanaian footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or right winger for West Ham United in the Premier League and for the Ghana national team. Before his move to West Ham, Kudus played for Danish club Nordsjælland and Dutch side Ajax. He hails from the Nima neighborhood in Accra, Ghana, and comes from a Muslim family. Kudus also has two brothers who live in Accra.
On August 27, 2023, Kudus signed a five-year contract with West Ham United, transferring from Ajax for €44.5 million, with additional payments. This transfer made him the third Ghanaian to play for West Ham and the second most expensive Ghanaian footballer after Thomas Partey.
