It seems more and more people in Germany are opposed to the government’s policy of allowing more refugees to come here.
“We are the people”, “go home” the protesters can be heard shouting at the bus of refugees.
The bus carries women and children. A child can be seen crying while looking at the chaos caused by the crowd.
Independent.co.uk reported that 30 police officers were deployed to the scene to keep the two groups apart.
“We were able to prevent it coming to physical confrontations or injuries,” Police in Saxony wrote on their Facebook page, noting 13 possible infractions against the law on free assembly.

The police said the “ terrible images and video” reached them via social media. “As the police we have to remain neutral during our deployments,” Police in Saxony said. “That is difficult for us in this situation. We are all people in blue uniforms, who feel just the same as you when we watch the video.”
The protest at refugees was condemned TV comedian Jan Böhmermann. He tweeted saying this is how “The German mob greets those who escaped the jaws of death.”
The blockade was also condemned by Markus Ulbig, the interior minister of Saxony, who said: “I find it utterly disgraceful…”
