Mr Patinkin who is a passionate supporter of refugee rights, appealed to the world leaders to have empathy with refugees and show them solidarity. “They are human beings, they are not terrorists, they are human beings, gorgeous families,” he said, adding that all they need is protection from dangerous situations and threats such as those posed by terrorists.
