Child Benefit Supplement (Kinderzuschlag) in 2025: Updated Amounts Revealed

Along with the Kindergeld child benefit, the Kinderzuschlag (KiZ) supplement will also go up by five euros, reaching 25 euros per month. This means the maximum child benefit can now total €297 per month. The supplement is designed to support low-income families who struggle to cover their living costs. The exact amount of KiZ is calculated based on each family’s financial situation.
