Since March 8 is a public holiday in Berlin, most shops will be closed. However, some supermarkets will remain open, including:

Truck driving ban on March 8, 2025 in Germany

There is no general truck driving ban on March 8. However, if International Women’s Day falls on a Sunday, the standard Sunday truck ban applies, restricting truck movement from midnight to 10 PM.
