American Model and Former Miss USA 2019, Cheslie Kryst, has committed suicide at the age of 30. The model jumped from her apartment building in Manhattan and was pronounced dead at the scene on Sunday Morning.
The news of her death was confirmed by her family in a statement given to the media.
The family’s statement said: ‘In devastation and great sorrow, we share the passing of our beloved Cheslie. Her great light was one that inspired others around the world with her beauty and strength.’

Kryst was the 2019 winner of the the Miss USA Pageant.
She fell from her 60 story high-rise apartment building in Midtown Manhattan and sources say she left a suicide note for her mother. It was also said that she jumped alone and that no one saw her during the time but, last on the 29th-floor terrace.
Just before she died she posted on her social media the message that, “May this day bring you rest and peace”
Emeatribute wrote that; According to law enforcement, her body was found at approximately 7:00 a.m Sunday in front of the Orion building.
Cheslie Kryst was among a group of Black women who made history in 20219 when they crowned Miss USA, Miss Teen USA, and Miss America simultaneously for the first time.
