This has been a position the German state has held down for the past years. According to the report (INSM) Initiative Neue Soziale Marktwirtschaft.
Saxony has also been praised for good all-day care, many well-trained and highly educated staff and teachers, a strong research orientation, and the best results in mathematics and science in the the state’s schools.

The extent of damage caused by the COVID-19 crisis will only be clear in the coming years. The latest report criticised the failures of digitisation and the “persistent lack of concept in online learning.”
The INSM study examines the extent to which a particular education system contributes to the provision of a skilled workforce, but also to educational equity, i.e. access to quality education. Students’ test scores and statistics are compared, such as how much money is spent on each student, the ratio between teachers and students, or how high the ratio of younger teachers is.
