Germany: There are eyewitness videos of the knife attack that took place in downtown Würzburg this afternoon . At least three people were killed and six others injured.
The perpetrator of today’s attack has been arrested. According to police information, there is no longer any threat to the population. Nothing indicates a second perpetrator.
Short eyewitness videos have appeared on social media that show the alleged attacker. A barefoot man is armed with a long knife. The recordings show how brave passersby tried to overpower the man. the last video shows the moment of the arrest of the attacker.
According to police, the alleged perpetrator is a 24-year-old Somali man who lives in Würzburg.
