According to leaks from Bild sources , the children were killed by their 27-year-old mother, who then threw herself under a subway train, leaving it injured and in serious condition.

The woman would have called her mother after the massacre and told her what she had done and that she would have killed herself along with her sixth 11-year-old son. But the boy, according to Bild , would be safe with his grandmother.
