Germany: Knife attack in Dresden Central Station, 23 year old in custody

Germany: A 23-year old from Afghanistan launched a knife attack on two young women in Dresden Central station, both age 20, on Friday evening at around 8:35 PM. He seriously injured one.

The man kicked one of the people standing on the platform who were both 20 from Uzbekistan. One intervened and was seriously injured by several stabs by a knife, said the pubic prosecutor.

The alleged perpetrator was caught and an arrest warrant issued for attempted manslaughter and dangerous bodily harm. He is on remand.
