Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage revealed that she was being blackmailed for a video that portrayed her being intimate with her current lover – a sex tape, but she also stressed that she would not pay to hide ”something natural”, reported BBC.
The Afrobeat queen claimed the video was accidentally posted on Snapchat by her lover who deleted it soon after realising the mistake and the stalker had already downloaded it.
Speaking at to Power 105.1 radio in New York, the veteran singer revealed that an unidentified person is threatening to release the said clip to the public if she does not pay them. (read more below)
“I am not going to call it a sex tape but it’s a tape between me and the person I am dating right now,” she said at the radio interview. Tiwa Savage said that she had cried at the thought of her family and her son stumbling across the video and the consequences it might also bring.
The ‘sex tape’, Tiwa Savage unveiled, took place around last month and the blackmailer had sought her out to which she had replied, “I’m so crazy that I might rather show it: it won’t make money on me,” she said.
