Jizzle told AfroNews: “I feel blessed to be an Afro-pop artist representing Gambia and Africa. Afrobeat is an amazing genre that comes from Africa, and we’re all representing the continent. When you talk about the world’s leading music genres, Afrobeat ranks among the top three. It’s not easy coming from a small place where it’s tough to break through, but there’s no magic—just hard work. I’m determined to create songs that will get me to the BET Awards.”

After his Summerjam performance, Jizzle entertained Gambian fans in several German cities, including Mannheim at Club California and Hamburg at Bridge Club, where the venues were packed with Gambians from across Europe.

He has also performed in Spain, Sweden, and Finland, and he is set to perform in Malta on Friday to celebrate his 30th birthday anniversary.
