Afro German YouTuber Sherlina Nym has taken to her YouTube channel where she boasts of a whooping 289k subscribers to teach subscribers how to make white chocolate macadamia nut cookies as quarantine snacks.

She says that amid the coronavirus threat it is important to remain indoors and avoid social interaction. Staying at home does not have to be boring.

Sherlina’s channel normally concentrates on the latest sneakers or the latest fashion.

“Today I am in my kitchen, but its not to show you guys some sneakers or some clothes,” she said, “but today we are doing something new in the kitchen and that is baking cookies.”

The Youtuber talks about how she loves cookies from Subway but now that since being in social spaces is detrimental to health she prefers observing the protocol and staying at home.

“I just don’t prefer going into any eating restaurants at the moment but I needed to eat them now and it was a fight even getting any flour,” Sherlina says.

This was in respect to the situation in the UK with everyone hoarding all the available goods. This is also something that is happening in Germany.

WHITE CHOCOLATE MACADAMIA NUT COOKIES

What you need:

120g | 1/2 cup butter

80g | 1/3 cup sugar

100g | 1/2 cup light brown sugar

1 egg

2 tsps vanilla extract

1 tsp baking soda

185g | 1 1/2 cup plain flour

Pinch of salt

Mix all the ingredients together & roll out 15-20 balls!

Pop them on a baking tray and bake them in the oven (180C/350F) for 10 min or until golden brown.

Let them cool off for about 15 min 🙂
