The exhibition features fantastic and colourful paintings by this self-taught genius artist.

Speaking during the official inauguration earlier this month, Joseph Oyi, Head of the Consular and Immigration, Nigerian Embassy, Berlin, thanked Stadt Königsbrunn for hosting the exhibition promoting Nigerian cultures. He also thanked Ms Timothy for her efforts to promote Nigerian cultures with dignity.

Ms Timothy told Afronews.de that her paintings were inspired by things affecting her life, especially the current situation of Nigeria and the difficulties ordinary people face in the country.

She uses her paintings to project the beauty of Africa and Africans, especially the continent’s landscapes and ceremonies.Vivian-Timothy2
