Cameroonians in Germany are mourning the death of Felix Tatah, a 37-year-old man who succumbed to lung cancer.
Felix, who was originally from Ngwokwong – Acha Tugi, Southern Region of Cameroon, died on 16th September 2018 at Katarina Hospital Stuttgart, the same hospital where he had worked for the last 15 years.
He was the Chairman of the Presbyterian Church – PCC Stuttgart. Felix is survived by his wife Virgine Akam Babot and three children: Fon, 9, Endah, 4, and Engoh, 2.
Susan Tatah, a relative and community leader in Stuttgart described Felix as a “great man, a humble servant of God and a dedicated community servant.”
She added that Felix was “a loving father and husband, and a man of very few words.”
Plans are underway to send Felix’s body back home for burial. Wake keeping is scheduled for 6th October 2018 in Stuttgart. The venue will be announced soon.
