Thomas Partey football Career in Europe and Ghana

Thomas Partey started his international career at Spanish club Atletico Madrid IN 2013. He was also on loan to Mallorca and Almeria but later returned to Atletico in 2015 and won the UEFA Europe League. In 2020 he made history after being Ghana’s most expensive player when Arsenal signed him for 45 million euros.

The Ghanian footballer made his debut in the 2017 AFCON match against Mauritius where he led the team to the finals. In 2018 Partey scored his first international goal in a 5-1 win against Congo in FIFA World Cup qualification.

Thomas Partey further made a milestone in his career after winning the Ghana player of the year twice. This was in 2018 and 2019 and later on in 2022 named Ghana’s vice-captain

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta expects Thomas Partey back in Europe any time soon since his national team is no longer participating at AFCON. This will mean that the player won’t miss a single match in the premier league if he manages to reach there by 23rd January. Arsenal will be playing against Burnley FC on Sunday 23rd January.
