Nigerians in Germany: A 38-year old Nigerian national injured 5 people in RE. Employees of the inspection service suffered a broken nose and an injury to the ribs. All inspection service employees and the suspects had to go to town for treatment.
The 38-year-old from Wuppertal is said to have used the RE 13 from Wuppertal to Hagen. The tickets were checked on the train by five Eurobahn inspection service employees.
While the 38-year-old was being checked, he was able to show a valid driver’s license, but since he was without a photo, he should also show an ID. This should then be used to compare his ticket as reported by New Portal.
The man from Wuppertal must have seen it differently, however, as he protested loudly against the conditions of carriage and the ticket inspection. Shortly afterwards, the verbal argument developed into a physical one.
Then the man is said to have attacked the inspection service employees. He is said to have bitten a 39-year-old Eurobahn employee in the arm and broken his nose. He is said to have injured another 52-year-old employee in the ribs, so that he reported breathing difficulties, and three other Eurobahn employees are said to have been slightly injured in the head, arms, shoulders and legs from blows and kicks.
Due to the injuries sustained, two of the employees had to be taken to a clinic in an ambulance.
The suspect himself complained of a headache during the examination by the federal police. After he hyperventilated shortly afterwards, he too was admitted to a clinic in Hagen.
The federal police initiated an investigation against the Nigerian, who has not yet appeared to the police, for stealth and dangerous physical harm. The investigation continues.
