Who is Carol Kay?

Carol Kay is a Kenyan born based in Hamburg, Germany. She is a radio and TV presenter, and the host of Burudika Program on TIDE TV and TIDE 96.0 FM in Hamburg- Germany.

Her Burudika Program is a platform where Africans in diaspora get all the information and news around the world, especially from and East Africa. The program features exclusive interviews with outstanding Africans in Germany and African celebrities visiting Germany. It also features educational debates and reflections on African cultures in addition to African music which makes the listeners feel close to home.

In her interviews, Carol Kay educates people more on whatever is new in the entertainment industry. She has interviewed some of the biggest African stars including Mbosso from Tanzania, Arrow Boy from Kenya, among others.

The TV interviews done by Carol Kay are very encouraging and educative. Most of her audience are able to see and interact with the guests while they are having their discussions.

Apart from all this, Carol Kay has been very influential in informing her audience about upcoming events taking place around Germany and Europe in general.

In 2021, Carol Kay won the Best Radio Presenter Award at the African Women in Europe Awards.

The African Community in Germany Awards Gala Night 2022

All winners will be announced and recognised at the African Community in Germany Awards Gala Night to be held on 22nd October 2022 from 5:30 PM at Bürgerzentrum Niederhöchstadt, Montgeronplatz 1, 65760 Eschborn.
