Symptoms of coronavirus in vaccinated people, new research breakthrough

Symptoms of coronavirus in vaccinated people: Researchers from King’s College UK have collected data for over four million people who participated in a study via an app called ZOE since 2020. Scientists were able to use this data to identify the five common symptoms of covid-19 infection in vaccinated people – merkur.de.

These are the most common symptoms of coronavirus in vaccinated people:

A small portion of those vaccinated contract the coronavirus and according to the German Hospital Association (DKG) most breakthroughs in covid research are almost exclusively found among the elderly.

The five most common symptoms in people who have been vaccinated are:

  • Persistent cough
  • Runny nose
  • Sore throat
  • Headache, and
  • Sneezing.

Research also states that the loss of sense of taste or smell, fever or shortness of breath were classified as classic symptoms of infection. They also took note that these were not the most common of symptoms, as they ranked in 6th, 8th and 29th place.

Those vaccinated fully experience mild symptoms and sometimes none manifest at all. This has led scientist to recommend regular corona tests to rule out infection even after vaccination.

Merkur.de informed that, ‘the researchers at King’s College recommend a corona test for vaccinated people, especially if they sneeze frequently and for no reason. Unvaccinated people transmit the virus much more strongly and they too can carry the virus within themselves and pass it on to others without any symptoms.’

The chances of getting covid symptoms after full vaccination are slim at around 0.3 percent. However, this makes it logical for vaccinated people to also end up in the intensive care units because they have no symptoms.

This should however not deter anyone from being fully vaccinated as a precautionary measure.
