Two children between the ages of 12 and 13 were attacked and insulted in a racist manner by a man and a woman in Rummelsburg.
The children are said to have been aggressively addressed by the man and woman at around 10:30 on Nöldnerplatz.
The boys proceeded to distance themselves from the woman who had broken a glass bottle and was running after them. She threw a glass shrapnel at the boys injuring the 12 year old on his lower leg.
The children then ran to a nearby police section 34 while the suspects fled the scene.
The boy injured by the glass was taken to hospital with the emergency services of the fire brigade and he left soon after receiving treatment.

Their legal guardians were informed of the happenings and the attack and they took the children home.
The police launched an investigation into the case where they went to the crime scene to gather evidence. They were unsuccessful in finding the two suspects but they managed to seize parts of the broken glass bottle and confiscated them as evidence.
Investigations into suspected dangerous bodily harm and insult are being conducted by the State Police.
